Supervising teachers are invited to submit a Research Concept on behalf of their student team for the ICAAI 2026 High-School Research Competition.
This competition is open to senior high-school students, Grades 10–12 / M4–M6 or equivalent, and vocational certificate students (Por Wor Chor), who are conducting original research related to agriculture, food science, agro-industry, food innovation, postharvest and packaging technology, nutraceutical and functional food, food security, sustainability, or agri-food logistics.
Each submission must be made by a team consisting of three (3) students and one (1) supervising teacher. There is no limit on the number of teams from each institution.
For the first round, each team must submit a Research Concept in English using the official A4 infographic template. The Research Concept should clearly present the research problem, methodology, innovation or creativity, expected impact, feasibility, and potential utilization.
All Research Concepts will be reviewed by a panel of experts according to the competition criteria. Up to 20 qualified teams will be selected to proceed to the final round, which will be held as a Poster Session during ICAAI 2026 at The Heritage Chiang Rai, Chiang Rai, Thailand.
Submissions must be original work conducted independently by the participating students. Work that has previously received awards from other competitions, has been published, or contains plagiarism is not eligible.
All team members must complete the conference registration before submission. Payment of the registration fee is required only after the Research Concept has successfully passed the first-round review.
Submission Preparation Checklist
All submissions must meet the following requirements.
The submission is an original research project conducted by the participating high-school or vocational certificate students.
The work has not previously received an award from any other competition.
The work has not been previously published and is not under consideration elsewhere.
The Research Concept is prepared in English using the official A4 infographic template.
The submission clearly includes the research title, names of all student team members, school name, and supervising teacher’s name.
The team consists of three (3) students and one (1) supervising teacher.
The supervising teacher is responsible for submitting the Research Concept on behalf of the team.
All team members have completed the ICAAI 2026 registration before submission.
Permission has been obtained for any photos, figures, data, or other materials included in the submission.
The submission does not contain plagiarism or unauthorized use of third-party content.
